• Dr. Saubhik Das is a board certified, fellowship-trained, internationally acclaimed consultant Orthopaedic surgeon. He is an expert in Knee/Hip replacement, sports medicine, arthroscopic surgeries, and complex trauma.

• Did MBBS from R.G.Kar medical College & Hospital, Kolkata. He excelled here; secured honours distinction and awarded with Gold Medal
• He was among the toppers in both All India Post Graduate and West Bengal Post Graduate Entrance Examination and then went to New Delhi to pursue post-graduate training.
• He completed his specialization in Orthopaedics from one of the largest and renowned tertiary care Institute in India: Central Institute of Orthopaedics (CIO), VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
• He subsequently cracked the entrance examination and joined as Senior Resident/Surgeon in Dept. of Orthopaedics at the top premier institute of India: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. There he honed his clinical and surgical skills; he earned repute in medical research, and published numerous scientific articles in reputed international and national journals.
• Upon completion of his residency training, he did not relent in pursuit of knowledge and skill. He travelled to Seoul, South Korea to fine tune his skills in the realm of Knee replacement and Sports medicine from Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (SNUBH), Seoul. There he got trained under the stewardship of Legendary knee surgeon Prof T. K. Kim.
• In pursuit of knowledge and excellence, Dr. Saubhik Das continued his journey for higher education. His extraordinary achievements secured him other International Fellowship Training and work opportunities in State-of-the-art center of excellences in Austria and Germany.
• He got trained under Legendary arthroscopy, and sports medicine surgery specialist Prof. Christian Fink and Dr. Christian Hoser in FIFA medical centre of excellence, Research Unit for Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Injury Prevention (OSMI), UMIT Tirol in Innsbruck, Austria.
• He also honed his skills in shoulder and Hip surgery under mentorship of renowned shoulder and hip specialists Prof. Sepp Braun and Dr. Peter Gföller, respectively.
• In Germany, he was exposed to complex hip and Knee replacement surgeries in one of the largest public sector hospitals Krankenhaus Barmherzige Brüder in Regensburg under mentorship of Prof. Bernd Füchtmeier, and Prof. Franz Müller.
• His perseverance, knowledge and skills earned him international repute. He became a member of the prestigious American College of Surgeons (ACS) and was bestowed with fellowship under the prestigious body (FACS).
• He also completed prestigious AO trauma Fellowship from Germany
• He has also been bestowed with fellowship under the prestigious International College of Surgeons (FICS), and FIMSA.
• Upon return in India, he worked as A/Professor in Department of Orthopaedics in Premier autonomous tertiary care institutes, first at AlIMS, Rishikesh, and then Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi. There he displayed his extraordinary surgical and clinical skills, and set the standards high. His astute skills in Orthopaedics and complex surgeries, and his humane approach in patient care were highly applauded by everyone.
• His work was duly appreciated; articles praising his achievements in different national and regional newspapers bear testimony to his extraordinary accomplishments.
• Apart from his clinical work, he is actively pursuing academic endeavour. He is actively involved in research projects, and also keep himself up-to-date to the best evolving evidences related to his speciality and patient care.
